JOHANNES MANJREKAR, born 1957, grew up in Mysore, Karnataka, in the company of numerous and varied pets. Ph.D. in molecular biology, have been teaching post-graduate biology courses at M.S. University of Baroda for more years than I can count. Besides haiku, am an admirer of and dabbler in children's literature. Married, with one wife and one daughter.
